Massive attacks by Russia on Ukraine

According to inkorr.com: On the night of October 22, Russia carried out a series of attacks on the energy infrastructure and cities of Ukraine, using ballistic missiles and drones. According to preliminary reports, regions including Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhia, Cherkasy, and Sumy came under fire.

As a result of the attacks, destruction occurred in the village of Pihrebi in the Brovary district, where a young woman, a 6-month-old baby, and a 12-year-old girl were killed. Residents of other regions, including Kyiv, Zaporizhia, and Poltava, sustained injuries.

“All children have been evacuated and are in shelters. According to preliminary information, many are experiencing acute stress reactions. There is and can be no justification for a drone strike on a kindergarten. It is evident that Russia arrogantly ignores any boundaries. These strikes are a slap in the face to everyone who speaks of a peaceful solution. Bandits and terrorists can only be stopped by force,”
emphasized President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Government and emergency services response

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, noted that more than ten regions were affected by the attack, including two fatalities in Kyiv and four in the Kyiv region. Rescuers and police are already working on site to eliminate the consequences of the strikes.

After the attacks, Ukrainian energy workers began emergency power outages in several regions. Specialists are working continuously to restore power supply as soon as possible.

It is worth noting that the massive strikes by Russia on the energy infrastructure and populated areas of Ukraine led to numerous deaths, including children, as well as many injuries. The Ukrainian government and emergency services are responding quickly to the situation, directing all efforts to eliminate the aftermath of the attacks.

These attacks underscore the seriousness of the threat Ukraine faces and affirm the need for international support in the fight against aggression. The continuation of such incidents may have a negative impact on energy security and the humanitarian situation in the country, so it is important to respond to them as quickly as possible.
