Russia is experiencing a severe fuel crisis exacerbated by a shortage of petroleum products, which arose due to price regulation, a reduction in domestic refining, and limited trade assistance from neighboring countries. The situation has become so critical that long lines at gas stations have become commonplace. According to experts, the reasons behind this are not only economic but also structural issues such as government price regulation on fuel and reduced volumes of oil refining. At the same time, despite the serious shortage, experts believe that the Russian army will still receive its diesel fuel, and a complete paralysis of the army or the country's economy can be avoided. However, the consequences of the crisis are already impossible to hide, indicating serious problems in the oil refining sector in Russia.
