Russians attempt to bypass Lyman: what is happening near Sloviansk

According to inkorr.com: Russian military continues to try to capture Sloviansk. As reported by Alexei Belsky, spokesman for the operational-strategic group of troops 'Dnipro', the goal of the occupiers is to establish control over the entire territory of 'DPR', including such cities as Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.

'They really want to capture Sloviansk. Moreover, since 2014, Sloviansk has been a kind of fetish for them,' emphasized the spokesman.

The Russians are trying to bypass Lyman from different directions in order to reach Sloviansk. They are exploring several options for an offensive through Lyman to the Donetsk Raihorod and Mykolaivka, and are also considering routes through Sviatohirsk or Kramatorsk.

Successful resistance of Ukrainian forces

Alexei Belsky noted that the Ukrainian defense forces are successfully resisting the enemy's offensive, even despite the intensified attack from the occupiers.

'They are not succeeding at all, so now the higher leadership of the Russian Federation, including the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense, is putting pressure, therefore they are increasing pressure themselves,' the spokesman pointed out.

The enemy constantly uses FPV drones in the direction of Lyman-Raihorod-Sloviansk, but no significant changes in this activity have been observed yet.

In general, the situation around Sloviansk remains tense, but Ukrainian defenders continue to effectively resist attempts by the enemy to capture this important city.

Combat operations continue at the front, where Russian troops continue to attempt to capture the strategically important city of Sloviansk. The situation remains complicated; however, Ukrainian forces are successfully holding back the offensive, and currently, the enemy has not achieved its objectives regarding the capture of the city.
