Russian offensive on Vovchansk: why the attacks continue despite significant losses.
According to inkorr.com: In the Kharkiv region, near Vovchansk, Russian troops are not stopping their offensive actions, despite suffering significant losses. This was stated by Viktor Tregubov, the chief communication partner of the Joint Forces, during a telethon.
The situation in Vovchansk
Vovchansk has suffered serious destruction due to prolonged fighting, during which many buildings have been destroyed. This complicates the defense, as there is no way to properly strengthen positions due to constant attacks, including air assaults.
'There are no so-called 'layered pies' like in Kupiansk or Lyman. The Russians hold more defined positions, but they expend a lot of effort on simply advancing,' Tregubov explained.
Active hostilities continue in the region, and residents feel an urgent need for protection and humanitarian assistance.
The situation in Vovchansk remains complicated. Local residents are seeking support as the consequences of hostilities become increasingly noticeable. Authorities and international organizations are trying to provide humanitarian aid, but the needs remain extremely high.
