Attacks on Sumy and Bohynivka Communities
According to UATV: On July 2, Russian forces launched a strike on the Sumy community, damaging civilian infrastructure including a school, private homes, and a children's playground. Two people required medical treatment as a result of the attack. This incident is part of a broader pattern of assaults on civilian areas in Ukraine.
On the same day, Russian aircraft also targeted the Bohynivka community in the Dnipropetrovsk region, tragically killing a 7-year-old child. In the Sumy community, two additional guided aerial bombs struck infrastructure facilities, compounding the damage.
Commenting on the situation, Oleh Hryhorov stated: 'The full scale of the Russian attack is being determined.'
