Russian freestyler deleted propaganda posts: the goal is to make it to the Olympics.
Cleaning social media and the desire to return to sports
According to inkorr.com: Russian freestyler Anastasia Tatalina decided to clean up the 'trash' from her social media. She deleted her page on 'VKontakte', where she followed a propaganda page, and also removed her like from a post that contained a Russian patriotic slogan.
The athlete hopes to convince the International Ski and Snowboard Federation that she is a 'neutral athlete' in order to participate in the 2026 Olympic Games. Since 2022, Russian athletes have been unable to compete under the auspices of FIS due to Russia's conflict with Ukraine. Tatalina passionately longs to return to the sports arena, where she plans to achieve victory, and appeals to FIS to grant her this opportunity.
“I really want to compete again and defend my position on the international stage,” Tatalina says.
The situation regarding Russian athletes remains complicated, and many of them are trying to adapt to the new realities. The return of Anastasia Tatalina to the world of sports depends not only on her efforts but also on the decisions of international organizations. Such steps may influence the further development of events in sports for Russian athletes.
