Alarm in Sumy region
In Sumy region, the air alert lasted more than 20 hours. As a result of attacks from Russia, part of the Sumy district was left without electricity. According to the regional military administration, a Russian drone damaged one of the important substations, but preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties. Medical facilities in Sumy are operating on backup power, and water is supplied on a schedule.
Attacks in Zaporizhzhia region
In Zaporizhzhia region, according to the head of the regional military administration Ivan Fedorov, Russian troops carried out three strikes on the village of Uspenivka in the Polohy district in the morning. As a result of these attacks, residential buildings, structures, and vehicles of local residents were damaged. Three people sought medical assistance. Later, a strike was recorded on a private house in Zaporizhzhia district, resulting in injuries to an elderly woman.

It is reported that on the night of August 27, Russia attacked Ukraine with 95 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones of various types.
