Russian invaders attempted to land on Dnipro islands: all attacks repelled.
Situation on the Kherson frontline
According to inkorr.com: Military reports from the Kherson front indicate control of the situation and significant losses for Russian invaders. This information was provided by Colonel Oleksandr Zavtonov, spokesman for the 30th Marine Corps.
Artillery shelling
Despite this, Russian troops continue shelling in Kherson Oblast, damaging civilian populations. The most affected settlements are Kherson, Bilozerka, and Mykhailivka, where homes, schools, and other infrastructure were hit.
'The targets of the shelling remain primarily civilian rather than military objects,' Zavtonov emphasized.
Tense situation on the islands
On September 26, a particular tension was observed on the islands at the mouth of the Dnipro. Russian invaders attempted to land infantry groups, but they were spotted by Ukrainian troops.
As a result, two boats with enemy fighters were destroyed, and a third boat, seeing what happened to its predecessors, refused to carry out the mission and retreated.
Situation on the left bank of the Dnipro
Zavtonov emphasized that Russian forces are trying to break into the rear of Ukrainian troops on the left bank of the Dnipro, complicating logistics. However, all their attempts have been unsuccessful.
Call to the local population
The Ukrainian defense forces continue to respond effectively to threats and strike the enemy. Zavtonov urged local residents to remain vigilant and follow the recommendations of local authorities.
With the increase in shelling and attempts to land enemy infantry at the mouth of the Dnipro, Ukraine continues to defend its independence and territorial integrity. Russian aggression is leading to destruction inflicted on the civilian population and breakthrough attempts. Ukrainian forces are holding their positions and responding to enemy attacks, preventing a state catastrophe.
