Scandal around the restoration of "Okhmatdyt": contractor spent 307 million UAH on the most expensive company

Ukraine found itself in a scandal over the embezzlement of funds during the restoration of "Okhmatdyt". The contractor chose the most expensive company without explanation to carry out the repair of the hospital, which was damaged by rocket attacks. This was reported by NashiGroshi.

According to the information, 14 companies took part in the tender, but the winner was a company that offered a price of 307 million UAH (excluding VAT). This was the third most expensive offer. Other participants offered to perform the work much cheaper - from 42 to 286 million UAH.

"The customer did not negotiate with any of them, without explaining their decision in any way", - reports NashiGroshi.

Analysis by NashiGroshi showed that out of the ten cheapest offers, at least seven had fully filled commercial offers with prices for various types of work.

For example, the winner has the most expensive repair of Reynaers facade panels (dark colors in the photo of the building) and finishing of internal walls with HP panels. Each of these works at "Bud-technology" costs over 100 million UAH and is twice as expensive as the competitors.

"For unknown reasons, the customer did not pay attention to the winner's problems", - emphasizes NashiGroshi.

For example, "Bud-technology" indicated only the rental of construction equipment, which does not allow the installation of facades above the second floor. In addition, the company did not provide any data on equipment for installing tiles.

The company "Riola-module", which had previously built this building, in its proposal (179 million UAH) indicated that it had already carried out a free repair of "clean rooms" and replaced some wall and ceiling structures. This indicated that the repair volumes at the expense of philanthropists might be overstated.
