Ukrainian intelligence continues to fight against Russian mercenaries 'Wagner' in Africa

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on the continuation of successful actions against Russian war criminals from the 'Wagner' group in Africa. This was stated by GUR representative Andriy Yusov.

According to Yusov, the necessary information was obtained, which helped to carry out a successful military operation against Russian mercenaries. Specific details are not disclosed yet.

Yusov emphasized that the 'Wagner' mercenaries have become active in the African direction and in other countries.

With their mercenaries, they are trying to influence the geopolitical and economic situation, change or support government regimes. However, Russia is losing its previous potential, so there will be fewer mercenary orders.

Recall that the Tuareg rebel movement CSP-PSD successfully attacked Russian mercenaries and the Malian junta in the town of Tinzawatene, Mali. During two days of fighting, the rebels took control of armored vehicles and other military objects. Among the killed militants was the administrator of the propaganda Telegram channel 'Grey Zone'.

Also in Mali, a group of CSP-DPA militants destroyed two helicopters of the private military company 'Wagner'.

It is worth noting that Russians are recruiting Ukrainians to fight in Africa in another 'Wagner' mercenary detachment. They are offering a salary of 240,000 rubles for signing a six-month contract.
