Ruben Amorim broke Premier League rules in the match against Chelsea: why the referee ignored it.
Manchester United's victory with controversial moments
According to The Sun: The match between Manchester United and Chelsea ended in a fierce battle, with the Manchester team winning 2-1. However, coach Ruben Amorim seemed to feel freer in adhering to Premier League rules.
The game started with drama: Chelsea was reduced to ten men after goalkeeper Robert Sanchez received a red card for a foul on Bryan Mbeumo.
EPAAfter that, Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring, and later Casemiro doubled the lead. But before halftime, Casemiro received a red card, giving Chelsea a chance to level the match.
In the second half, Trevoh Chalobah pulled one back for Chelsea, but Manchester United managed to hold on to their victory.
Controversy over weather conditions
Amorim's victory was accompanied by some controversies. The pitch at Old Trafford was flooded due to heavy rain, and Amorim's technical area was almost completely under water.
Despite these conditions, the Portuguese often stepped outside his zone and even stood ahead of his opponent on the touchline.
Usually, coaches are warned for stepping outside the technical area, but this time, it seems the rule was ignored due to the severe weather conditions.
“We started well, really aggressively,” Amorim said after the match. “The sending-off helped, but we still made it hard for ourselves. We need to be more clinical.”
This victory lifted Manchester United into the upper part of the table with seven points. The next match against Brentford will take place next Saturday.

Hopes for the future
Manchester United has not always shown stability under the Portuguese, but this victory could be a turning point for the team.
Amorim expressed satisfaction with the success, understanding that a positive result needs to be confirmed in the upcoming matches.
“Now is the time to create a little wave of positivity. We deserved the win, but it's just one win. We have to think about the next match,” he noted.
It's important to maintain pressure on the team and the coach, as a home victory is what Manchester United strives for: “We are trying to create momentum.”
