In the Kyiv City State Administration, a real 'storm in a teacup' has arisen. Employees were handed suspicions due to the destruction of the subway tunnel, and Mayor Klitschko hastened to respond to this news. The information about the suspicions handed to two KMD officials has caused not only accusations of official negligence but also outrage from the mayor. Klitschko believes this is a 'strengthening of political pressure' on the capital's authorities, aimed at 'destabilization' of the city's life support. An important part of this story is that the suspicions against the officials are not an exception. Since 2019, law enforcement has initiated over 1500 criminal proceedings against KMD employees, evidenced by nearly 80 suspicions handed out. And Mayor Klitschko has called for accountability not only for the executors but also for the 'directors' of this situation.
