A Russian diplomat who was found dead in the Russian embassy in Cyprus may have had ties to espionage and was planning an escape. 41-year-old Alexey Panov was likely working as a captain in the renowned GRU and was found hanged in a complex in Nicosia.According to The Sun: Officially, he held the position of third secretary of the embassy.
