Rahm on Fans' Taunting at Ryder Cup: Where's Your Ozempic? – It was funny.
According to The Sun: Spanish golfer Jon Rahm shared his thoughts on the fans' whistles during the Ryder Cup, noting that he actually enjoys it, despite the joke about the weight loss drug Ozempic.
During the first tee shot in a practice round at Bethpage, Rahm became the target of jokes but noted it brings him satisfaction.
He and his teammates from Team Europe prepare for unexpected whistles.

Preparing for the Whistles
Ahead of the tournament, Rahm also recounted an interesting party with Tyrrell Hatton.
Team Luke Donald received virtual goggles to prepare for the jokes from spectators that start today in New York.
However, the two-time Major winner noted:
“That was the first try during the practice rounds. I don’t exactly know what he said, but I think it was something like: 'Hey, Rahm, where's your Ozempic?' That was funny.”
“I don’t think we are creative enough with these VR goggles to imagine what we will hear this week, based on what we heard during the practice rounds.”
“The good news this week is that the New York fans are so emotional, and thankfully, that’s something I can identify with. It’s incredibly fun.”
Rahm expressed confidence that
“they have the ability to be incredibly creative, and we can all appreciate that.”
“We’ve all been at home games trying to say something about the opponent, but some people come up with things I could never think of, and that’s really fun.”
Night Adventures
Rahm also recalled his 'wild' night with Tyrrell Hatton after the LIV Tour season ended. Hatton recounted waking up with vomit in his beard.
Rahm admitted:
“I don’t drink much, but luckily, I have a bigger reserve to handle it.”
He explained:
“Hatton just learned he qualified for the Ryder Cup, which, being on the LIV Tour, is extremely difficult.”
Rahm noted that their dinner was filled with various drinks:
“I’m not going to get into details, but between wine, gin and tonic, Amaretto sour, one margarita, and this strawberry lemonade with vodka, we don’t know what that was.”
As a result, neither of them felt well on Monday, but someone among them, specifically Hatton, felt worse than anyone.
Ryder Cup 2025 - All the Details
The Ryder Cup is back: Team Europe defends its title on American soil this weekend.
Team Luke Donald is in New York ahead of the big kickoff on Friday, trying to replicate their success in the prestigious tournament of the 21st century, in which they have managed to win eight out of 11 meetings since 2002.
However, only two of those victories were achieved on U.S. soil, while the U.S. team won the tournaments in 2021 and 2016.
In fact, Team Europe has won only one out of four Ryder Cups held in the U.S. – in 2012, since winning in 2004. This year, the U.S. team enters the competition as the favorites.
