In July this year, over 6400 new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is 20% more than last year. This was reported by "Ukrautoprom".
Compared to the previous month, consumer activity in the car market increased by 24%. This is due to the fact that the government wants to introduce a military levy of 15% on car purchases, so Ukrainians are rushing to buy cars as quickly as possible to avoid additional costs.
July became a period of active development in the new car market. Never before this year has the number of sales been as high as in July.
The largest number of cars were Toyota - 1024 registrations. BMW remains the second most popular brand with 628 cars. Renault occupies the third place with 587 cars. Also in the TOP-5 for July are Skoda (378 cars) and Volkswagen (334 cars).
Since the beginning of the year, over 39,200 new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine, which is 21% more than in the same period last year.
