Shakhtar offers 20 million euros for Meca: the Brazilian's transfer is approaching.
The Donetsk club 'Shakhtar' has made an updated offer for the transfer of Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Meca from 'Grêmio'. This was reported by 'Hlavcom' citing Mix Vale.
'Shakhtar's' new offer
According to inkorr.com: According to new terms, the Ukrainian club is offering around 20 million euros and also plans to make bonus payments based on the player's performance and a percentage from any future resale. According to the media, these conditions meet the minimum requirements of the 'Grêmio' management.
Interest from European clubs
In addition to 'Shakhtar', interest in Meca is also shown by several European clubs, including 'Chelsea' and 'Arsenal'.
Previously, the 'Grêmio' club rejected Shakhtar's first offer of 15 million euros, while the player's clause is 50 million.
Contract and career of Gabriel Meca
Gabriel Meca's contract with 'Grêmio' is valid until the end of 2027. He made his debut in the club's first team in 2025, playing two matches in the Rio Grande do Sul state championship, and scored one goal in five matches in the Brazilian U-20 championship.
Thus, after the 'Grêmio' club rejected the first offer, 'Shakhtar' has put forward a new offer to Gabriel Meca with significantly improved terms.
This week, the football world is closely following the negotiations between 'Shakhtar' and 'Grêmio'. If the deal goes through, it could be a significant boost for the Ukrainian club, considering the growing interest in young talents. The results of the negotiations will show how actively 'Shakhtar' is focused on strengthening its team in this transfer window.
