New investigation against Ramzan Kadyrov

According to inkorr.com: On September 1, 2025, the Security Service of Ukraine released new evidence of Ramzan Kadyrov's involvement in war crimes. According to the obtained data, Kadyrov instructed his subordinates not to capture Ukrainian prisoners of war, but to kill them on the spot. These instructions were directed to commanders of Chechen militants collaborating with Russian occupation forces on the territory of Ukraine.

Moreover, Kadyrov used Ukrainian prisoners of war as 'human shields' to protect his military facilities from drone attacks. Such actions are serious violations of international war norms and may lead to serious legal consequences for the Chechen leader.

Based on the collected evidence, the SBU informed Kadyrov of the suspicion under the first part of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for war crimes.

This is not the first case concerning Kadyrov. In 2022, the SBU already conducted an investigation into his actions in the context of preparations for aggressive war and violations of Ukraine's territorial integrity. The investigation is carried out by the Office of the Prosecutor General to hold Kadyrov accountable for his crimes.

The Security Service of Ukraine confirmed that Ramzan Kadyrov is a symbol of brutal human rights violations, willing to commit any criminal acts to achieve his goals. He has become the subject of international accusations and now faces serious responsibility before the global community.

The investigation initiated by the Security Service of Ukraine emphasizes the importance of holding accountable those guilty of war crimes. The collection of evidence and international reaction may become decisive factors in Kadyrov's case, as the global community continues to monitor the situation in Ukraine. It is crucial that human rights violations do not go unpunished.
