The GUR destroyed two Mi-8 helicopters and a Russian tug in Crimea: details of the operation.
According to FREEДOM:
Successful operations of the Ukrainian intelligence
The special forces of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU) 'Phantoms' continue to strike at military equipment of the Russian Federation on the territory of Crimea. This was reported by the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as reported by FREEДOM.
The operations were carried out using drones that attacked the airbase of the Russian occupiers in Hvardiiske, near the temporarily occupied Simferopol.
'Successfully hit two enemy Mi-8 helicopters. The estimated cost of the destroyed helicopters is between 20 and 30 million dollars,' said the GUR.
A military tug, presumably BUK-2190, was also hit in the bay of Sevastopol. The destruction of this tug significantly limits the combat capabilities of the elite Russian unit.
It is worth reminding that on the night of August 30, GUR intelligence officers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine destroyed an underground warehouse of explosives in the Tula region of the Russian Federation.
These successful operations indicate the active activity of Ukrainian intelligence in wartime conditions. The use of modern technologies, such as drones, allows for precise strikes on enemy targets, reducing risks for the personnel. The continuation of such missions emphasizes the importance of intelligence in the overall operational context of the Ukrainian armed forces.
