Ukrainian Security Service Destroys Fighter Jet Hangars at Saky Airbase: Key Details of the Strike.
Strike on the Saky Military Airfield
According to UATV: On July 1, Ukraine’s Security Service launched an attack on the Saky military airfield in occupied Crimea. The operation involved five confirmed drone strikes, each hitting its target and causing severe damage to the enemy. The targeted hangars housed Su-30 and Su-30SM fighter aircraft.
Following the assault, a fire broke out in one of the hangars containing an Su-30SM jet. Each of these aircraft is estimated to be worth between 30 and 50 million US dollars. This strike on enemy assets at the Saky airfield demonstrates the proactive efforts of Ukrainian forces to maintain security in the region.
Growing Effectiveness of Ukraine’s Military Command
This attack highlights the increasing capability of Ukraine’s military command to conduct operations in occupied territories. It also showcases the ability of Ukrainian security forces to leverage advanced technology in pursuit of strategic objectives. Hitting such critical military infrastructure can significantly undermine the enemy’s combat readiness and shift the regional balance of power.
