Operations of the Security Service of Ukraine

According to Novyny.live: The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) continues to dismantle enemy military infrastructure in temporarily occupied territories, striking logistics hubs, ammunition depots, and fuel storage sites. On Sunday, July 5, the SBU press office reported the destruction of enemy logistics, highlighting the active efforts of Ukrainian forces in this domain.

SBU 'Alpha' operators are engaged in the middle strike zone, underscoring their critical role in these missions. During June, Ukrainian forces struck over 200,000 Russian targets, significantly reducing the enemy's combat effectiveness. Specifically, the SBU destroyed a drone command post in the Mykolaiv region and carried out precision strikes on ammunition warehouses in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Impact on Russian Unit Supply Chains

Additionally, fuel depots in Crimea were destroyed, complicating the supply of Russian units. Logistics and supply facilities were also hit in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.

“The SBU is reducing the Russian army’s combat potential every day,” said Yevhenii Khmara.

Overall, these strikes have severely hampered the provisioning of Russian forces, which could significantly alter the course of the conflict.

The SBU’s operations reflect Ukraine’s strategic approach to weakening enemy military capabilities through targeted strikes on key assets. During the active phase of the war, such actions can substantially affect battlefield outcomes and shift the front-line balance of power. Continued operations of this kind may increase pressure on Russian troops, thereby influencing the overall dynamics of the conflict in the region.
