Straka's wife, Paige, gave birth to son Thomas prematurelyThe 32-year-old athlete decided to skip the BMW PGA Championship to be with his family. European team captain Luke Donald noted:
“Yes, all is well. I don't think an official announcement was made, but he and his wife welcomed their little one a few weeks ago prematurely. Everything is going extraordinarily well with their baby. He just doesn't want to be that far away. I think it's quite fair.”
