Between January and May 2023, visitor numbers climbed 7% compared to the same period in 2022. This upward trend reflects the country's expanding tourism infrastructure, which is helping Serbia gain recognition on the international stage. The number of registered rural tourism properties jumped from 700 to 1,900, signaling a strong appetite for countryside experiences that showcase local culture and traditions.
