Average Salary in Ukraine - What Has Changed in July 2025.
Changes are occurring in the labor market in Ukraine despite the difficult economic situation. In July 2025, the average salary continued to grow, but this process varies from region to region.
News.LIVE reports on how the level of wages has changed in Ukraine, where the highest and lowest payments are made.
Average Salary by Regions of Ukraine
According to Work.ua, the average salary in Ukraine in July 2025 amounted to 25,000 UAH, which is 22% more than in July of the previous year. However, compared to June of this year, this indicator remained the same.
The situation with wage payment by regions in July is as follows:
- Kyiv - 30,000 UAH (+23% year-on-year);
- Lviv - 26,300 UAH (+19%);
- Uzhhorod - 25,000 UAH (+25%);
- Dnipro - 24,000 UAH (+20%);
- Odesa - 24,000 UAH (+20%);
- and other regions.
How Average Salary Changed Over the Month
Most regions show an increase in the average salary compared to June 2025. For example, in Kyiv, Rivne, Ternopil, and others, the salary increased by 500 UAH. In Odesa and Chernihiv, it rose by 400 UAH, and in Lviv and Kharkiv by 300 UAH.
At the same time, in other regions, salaries remained at the previous level. However, the government forecasts further growth of the average salary in Ukraine, as stated in the Budget Declaration for the coming years.
