Shevchenko will enter the Italian football Hall of Fame.
President of the Ukrainian Association of Football Andriy Shevchenko is inducted into the Italian Football Hall of Fame as a «Foreign Football Player». The ceremony will take place on November 11. Along with Shevchenko, Luciano Spalletti, Daniele De Rossi, Roberto Boninsegna, and Ariedo Braida will also enter the Hall of Fame.
Shevchenko played for the Italian club AC Milan from 1999 to 2006, scoring 175 goals and making 46 assists in 322 matches.
Christian Shevchenko, the 17-year-old son of Andriy Shevchenko, received a call to the Ukrainian youth national team (U-19) after obtaining Ukrainian citizenship.
The Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) selected Andriy Shevchenko for the position of head. The son of the UAF president received his first call-up to the Ukrainian national team (U-19) after obtaining citizenship.
