How to save on chocolate
We all love chocolate sometimes, but there’s no need to spend a lot of money on favorite treats.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker shares tips on how to save on chocolate:
- Choose own brand — if taste is not important to you and you just want to satisfy your chocolate craving, try supermarket's own brand chocolate.
- Compare prices — once you find your favorite chocolate, be sure to check prices at other stores.
- Look for yellow labels — supermarket staff often put yellow, sometimes orange and red labels on products that are on sale.
- Buy larger bars — usually, the larger the bar, the cheaper the chocolate per 100 g.
Sainsbury's customers can take advantage of this great opportunity for savvy shopping. Discounted chocolate and attractive promotions create ideal conditions for shopping, especially before the holidays. Keep an eye on promotions at supermarkets and don’t miss your chance to save on your favorite treats!
