Sybiga announced Ukraine's readiness for peace: what was discussed with the USA and EU.
According to FREEДOM: Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga during a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and European colleagues stated the country's readiness for the next steps towards peace. Sybiga confirmed that the Ukrainian army is essential for any guarantees, thus its strengthening is a priority. Additionally, he emphasized Ukraine's readiness for meetings at the leadership level in any format and locations, respecting the cessation of killings and enhancing diplomacy.
'We all share the conviction that the Ukrainian army is a key element of any guarantees, therefore its maximum strengthening is our priority. I confirmed that Ukraine is ready for the next steps towards peace. We are ready for meetings at the leadership level in any format and locations. We are ready to put an end to killings and provide a chance for diplomacy. Moscow will not succeed in dragging out time endlessly,' Sybiga wrote on social media X.
Yesterday, a phone conversation took place between the USA, Ukraine, and European countries, where it was confirmed that efforts towards peace are underway and diplomacy remains an important tool for influencing Russia. Earlier, US Special Representative Keith Kellogg noted that guaranteeing security for Ukraine requires complex diplomatic efforts.
