Attacks on Russian Military Infrastructure

According to UATV: On February 28, 2023, Ukrainian defense forces executed a coordinated series of strikes against Russian military facilities within temporarily occupied territories. These precision attacks successfully hit a Russian fuel and lubricants storage depot, as well as an ammunition warehouse, both located in the Donetsk region. This operation was part of a broader offensive that also targeted the forward command post of Russia's 127th Motor Rifle Division. These strikes demonstrate Ukraine's ongoing efforts to degrade Russian logistics far behind the front lines.

In a separate action, Ukrainian military units struck Russian material and technical support depots in the Kherson region. The strikes also targeted areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, specifically in the following settlements:

  • Dronovka (Belgorod region, Russian Federation)
  • Rodynske (Donetsk region)
  • Berezove (Dnipropetrovsk region)

All of these strikes were carried out using ATACMS missiles, confirming the operational use of these long-range systems by Ukrainian forces to disrupt Russian aggression.

Ukraine's Defensive Strategy

These attacks underscore the continuation of Ukraine's proactive defensive strategy, which aims to cripple the logistical capabilities of Russian troops and diminish their combat potential in occupied areas. The deployment of ATACMS missiles highlights the growing technological capacity of Ukrainian forces, a factor that is increasingly shaping the battlefield and could significantly influence the future course of the conflict.
