Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Oil Terminal and Key Targets in Occupied Regions.
Ukrainian Defense Forces Operations
According to TSN.ua: In the early hours of January 22, Ukrainian defense forces successfully targeted an oil terminal in Russia's Krasnodar region and a series of key sites within temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. Among the targets was the 'Tamannеftegaz' oil terminal, a facility directly involved in supplying the Russian occupation forces. These strikes underscore Ukraine's ongoing efforts to disrupt Russian military logistics deep behind enemy lines.
Furthermore, several radar installations in occupied Crimea were confirmed as hit:
- A 59N6-E 'Protivnik-GE' system in Lyubymivka
- A 55Zh6 'Nebo-U' system in Yevpatoria
- A 55Zh6M 'Nebo-M' system in Rusakivka
Additionally, a drone storage warehouse was destroyed in Novogrygorivka, within the occupied part of Kherson region. In Selydove, Donetsk region, a Russian command and observation post, along with a concentration of personnel, was struck.
Significant Results
Further confirmation was received of a successful strike on an ammunition depot belonging to Russia's 101st Separate Logistics Brigade in Debaltseve. Other critical strikes included:
- Damage to an oil refinery in Tuapse
- A strike on a fuel depot in Belgorod region
These coordinated attacks demonstrate a clear strategy to degrade Russia's war-fighting capacity by hitting supply chains and command nodes. Such deep-strike capabilities have become a hallmark of Ukraine's defense, leveraging Western-supplied and domestically-produced long-range systems.
The operations executed by Ukrainian military units highlight their growing capability to inflict substantial damage on the adversary's logistical and military infrastructure, both within the occupied regions and on Russian soil. This reflects the continuation of intense combat operations and Ukraine's determination to weaken Russian positions in the face of prolonged aggression. Efforts to cripple key infrastructure targets are of strategic importance, potentially reducing the operational capabilities of Russian forces along the front lines.
