Ukrainian Defense Forces Target Enemy Infrastructure

According to TSN.ua: In the early hours of January 26, Ukrainian defense forces conducted a strike on the "Slavyansk Eco" oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, located in Russia's Krasnodar Krai. This facility has an annual processing capacity exceeding 4 million tons of oil. Reports confirm that attack drones successfully hit the plant's territory, demonstrating the operation's effectiveness. Such strikes on Russia's energy infrastructure are part of a broader strategy to degrade the resources funding its war effort.

During the same coordinated operation, Ukrainian forces also hit logistics and supply depots used by Russian occupation units in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. Specific strikes targeted the city of Donetsk and the village of Solodkovodne. Additionally, a command post for unmanned aerial vehicles in the Velyka Novosilka district was attacked, along with concentrations of enemy personnel near Yunakivka and Kolisnikivka.

Strategic Aims of the Campaign

These actions form part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' ongoing efforts to destroy the military resources of the aggressor and strengthen the country's defensive capabilities amid the prolonged conflict.

The strike on the Russian oil refinery is a key component of Ukraine's strategy to diminish the resource base supporting the invading military forces. The destruction of supply depots and command posts underscores the precision of these operations, which aim not only to degrade immediate combat power but also to hinder the enemy's ability to reconstitute its forces. These developments highlight the conflict's continued escalation and Ukraine's readiness to operate across multiple fronts.
