Ukrainian Defense Forces Strike 'Luhanska' Oil Depot in Occupied Territory.
Ukrainian Military Strikes Target Enemy Infrastructure
According to UATV: On February 27, 2023, Ukrainian Defense Forces targeted the 'Luhanska' oil depot, located in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast. This action is part of ongoing military operations in the region aimed at degrading critical enemy infrastructure. These strikes demonstrate Ukraine's continued capacity to project force deep into occupied areas, disrupting Russian supply lines.
In related operations, Ukrainian forces also hit fuel and lubricant storage depots near several key locations:
- Mariupol,
- Novotoretske,
- Koptevo.
These targets are situated within the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk Oblast. Additionally, a hostile drone command post near Raiške in the occupied Kherson region was attacked.
Attacks on Crimea
On the night of February 26, Ukrainian forces struck a P-18 'Terek' radar station and an RSP-6M2 radar system in Dzhankoi, within the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to available data, these actions resulted in the elimination of approximately 1,300 occupying troops, the destruction of nearly 20 artillery systems, and over 110 units of automotive equipment. Targeting such assets is a key component of Ukraine's strategy to degrade Russian air defense and surveillance capabilities on the peninsula.
These coordinated operations highlight the systematic efforts of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to cripple the enemy's logistical and military capacity, which could significantly impact the ability of Russian forces to sustain combat operations. The destruction of critical infrastructure like fuel depots and radar stations is designed to limit the enemy's operational mobility and bolster Ukrainian defensive positions. Such strikes underscore the intense conflict in the region and reaffirm Ukraine's resolve to defend its territorial integrity.
