The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine invite citizens to join the resistance movement

The Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have created a special platform where anyone willing can join the resistance movement. To do this, it is necessary to fill out the appropriate application on the website opir.org.ua. The military guarantees the confidentiality of applications.

«The participation of the population in the resistance movement will strengthen the state's defense capability and give the defense of Ukraine a nationwide character. Ukraine, which is experiencing Russian aggression, must undergo a path similar to Israel, becoming a state ready to repel enemy attacks at any moment. Awareness and acceptance of this reality by the entire population of the country, not just the military, in the shortest possible Time will allow accumulating its own strength, which will become the main factor in deterring the enemy. It is about parallel processes: on the one hand, mobilization, and on the other, involving the population of the country, including residents of temporarily occupied territories, in the resistance movement,» it is stated in the message.

The resistance movement can take various forms of participation in the defense of the state: from gathering information beneficial to Ukraine in conditions of occupation to preparing each participant in the resistance movement for a possible repulsion of the aggressor's attack.

The resistance movement needs:

• Residents of the occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions, as well as Crimea.
• Citizens of Ukraine who are currently in the unoccupied Ukrainian territory.

«Regardless of circumstances, even if there is a temporary cessation of active hostilities (we cannot ignore the international political context), Ukraine must constantly prepare its population for possible resistance. Concrete actions need to be taken now, not waiting for the aggressor to advance further into our territory. This is important for supporting one’s country and the Armed Forces of Ukraine,» stress the SOF.

Let us remind you that, on the night of January 16, unidentified individuals set fire to relay cabinets near the capital of the Russian Federation. Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, notes that this was carried out by the Ukrainian resistance.
