The Defense Forces of Ukraine have liberated three villages in the Donetsk region from Russian occupiers - Mykhailivka, Zelenyi Hai, and Vladymyrivka. This was reported today, August 24, by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Syrskyi.'Our troops have successfully counterattacked and liberated the villages in Donetsk region - Mykhailivka, Zelenyi Hai, Vladymyrivka,' said the Commander of the AFU.He mentioned that he visited the Pokrovsk direction and communicated with the servicemen who have been holding the defense in Pokrovsk for a long time, repelling attacks from superior enemy forces. This includes the 25th Airborne, 68th Jaeger, 32nd, and 155th mechanized brigades.'I worked at the command posts of the units that are carrying out combat missions in the Pokrovsk direction. I listened to the reports of the corps and brigade commanders on the operational situation. The situation is indeed difficult; the enemy has concentrated its main efforts in this section of the front. But we must hold the line. Assistance in organizing combat actions will be provided.
