Taisia Povalіy's Son Reacted to the Court's Decision on the Confiscation of the Singer's Property

Denys Povalіy, the son of singer Taisia Povalіy, reacted to the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine regarding the confiscation of the artist's property and rights to her songs in favor of the state. He shared his thoughts with his audience on Instagram.

«We have five days to file an appeal. Is this a hint for everyone to sit quietly? Can someone really be deprived of everything for their position?», – wrote Denys Povalіy.

«I understand that she causes resentment in many, but firstly, not all the residents of the house, which they intend to seize, agree with her, and secondly, maybe they're looking for real corrupt officials in the wrong place? And how can we simultaneously fight against Soviet symbols and act with such Soviet methods? What are we fighting against then? I only have questions and no answers...», – added Denys.

Denys Povalіy showed a complete lack of understanding or unwillingness to understand the reason that led to the confiscation of the singer's property. It is known that Taisia Povalіy was sanctioned in 2022 due to her statements justifying Russian aggression against Ukraine.

In the second year of the war, the Security Service collected evidence against the singer, who justified Russia's aggressive war against Ukraine. The basis for the suspicion was three articles of the criminal code. It is also known that Taisia Povalіy obtained Russian citizenship.
