According to Novyny.live: Forecasters, including Ukraine's Hydrometeorological Center and meteorologist Natalia Didenko, warn of a dramatic weather shift across the country on April 1. Northern, eastern, and central regions will see fog, with thunderstorms possible in some areas. Light rain is expected throughout most of the territory, while western parts will experience moderate precipitation.
Overnight temperatures will range from +5 to +10 °C, with daytime highs reaching +13 to +18 °C. In western oblasts, nighttime lows will fall between +1 and +6 °C, and daytime temperatures will not exceed +7 to +12 °C. The Carpathian Mountains are forecast to receive wet snow, with temperatures hovering near 0 °C.
Regional Weather Highlights
In most Ukrainian regions, daytime temperatures will climb to +12 to +17 °C, but the west will remain cooler at +6 to +12 °C. Kyiv is also expected to see rain, with temperatures reaching up to +15 °C. Notably, on March 19, 2023, snow fell on Mount Pip Ivan in the Carpathians, and temperatures dropped to -8 °C.
The April 1 forecast signals changing conditions that could disrupt daily life across various regions. Cloud cover, fog, and rain may complicate travel, particularly in the north and east. Additionally, given the recent snowfall in the Carpathians, visitors to mountainous areas should exercise caution, as weather can shift rapidly.
