Syrskiy revealed the details of the US peace plan: does it limit mobilization in Ukraine?

According to ТСН: The US peace plan does not impose restrictions on Ukraine regarding mobilization. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy, believes that an army size of 800,000 during peace is sufficient to ensure the country's security.

Commander-in-Chief's Comment

In an interview with '24 Channel', he noted that the American peace document does not limit Kyiv in forming reserves. Syrskiy emphasized that a force of 800,000 servicemen will not only support defense but also ensure a stable mobilization process if necessary.

'This number truly guarantees that Ukraine will resist in the event of renewed armed aggression from the Russian Federation. It also guarantees a planned mobilization process. In other words, we are not limited in mobilization. All our mobilization characteristics and capabilities remain intact,' he emphasized.

Negotiation Process

Syrskiy also spoke about the details of the negotiation process, noting that there were initially discussions about significantly reducing the Armed Forces, with partners suggesting to decrease the number to 600,000. However, the final figure of 800,000, according to the general, fully meets Ukraine's needs.

The Commander-in-Chief stressed that the development of missile weapons and long-range artillery remains a strategic priority, which will ensure the security of the country's borders in the future.

In the context of tensions with Russia, this calculation signals Ukraine's serious approach to strengthening its defense capabilities. The Commander-in-Chief's words underline the importance of US support in the context of military needs, as contemporary threats require the rapid mobilization of reserves and deployment of forces. Against the backdrop of news about peace negotiations, this also indicates Ukraine's desire to preserve forces for current defense.
