Syriyskyi named rocket troops as the key to the security of Ukraine's borders.

According to ТСН: The development of missile weapons and long-range artillery is a strategic priority for Ukraine, which should guarantee the security of its borders in the future.

This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskiy in an interview with '24 Channel'.

Missile shield as a strategic deterrent

The Commander-in-Chief emphasized the key role of these military units in the current confrontation and in creating a future deterrence system against the aggressor.

'Our rocket troops and long-range artillery are demonstrating very good results. And the rocket troops are a deterrent factor that will not allow any enemy to encroach on our territory in the future,' emphasized Oleksandr Syrskiy.

According to him, effective use of this weapon during combat operations allows for 'maximally destroying the enemy so that they have no opportunity to continue offensive operations'.

Technological update of the Armed Forces by 2026

Outlining plans for the coming years, Syrskiy noted that the main task of the troops remains unchanged — the protection of territories and borders. However, methods of warfare require constant modernization and a transition to new technological rails.

'If we focus on the directions, it is further development, increasing efficiency, continuing the development of the management system, as well as further automation, digitalization, and robotization,' explained the Commander-in-Chief.

Oleksandr Syrskiy concluded that it is the combination of modern management systems, digital solutions, and powerful rocket troops that will provide the Armed Forces with the necessary advantage on the battlefield and will reliably defend the Motherland in the long term.

Let us recall that after the loud statements of the Belarusian regime about receiving the 'Oreshnik' missile complex, Ukrainian intelligence clarified the actual goal of such maneuvers.
