Ukrainian Lawmaker Demands Individual Investigations into Recruitment Center Deaths.
Fedor Venislavsky's Remarks on the Situation at Recruitment Centers
According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian MP Fedor Venislavsky has addressed the serious situation unfolding at the country's Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TRSCs), particularly concerning citizen fatalities. He stressed that each case must be investigated individually and that conflicts between these centers and civilians are unacceptable. Venislavsky noted that when legal violations are identified, preventive measures are taken against the staff of these recruitment and social support offices.
Fedor Venislavsky serves on the parliamentary committee for national security, defense, and intelligence. The TRSCs are staffed by military personnel, 90% of whom have combat experience. This underscores the critical need for a professional approach within these institutions, especially given the nation's current state of war.
Potential Overhaul of Mobilization Policy
Furthermore, Venislavsky highlighted that Ukraine's mobilization framework could undergo significant changes in the near future. He stated that the President, the Ministry of Defense, and his committee are continuously monitoring the issue, indicating a serious governmental effort to safeguard citizens' rights and ensure the proper functioning of the recruitment centers.
The performance of these centers is a vital component of Ukraine's military system during the ongoing conflict. Ensuring both the protection of citizens' rights and the operational effectiveness of these institutions must be a state priority, particularly within the context of mobilization. Venislavsky's comments reflect the urgency of these societal concerns and the necessity for high-level policy solutions.
