Recently, there has been a rise in sunflower seed prices in Ukraine. Such an increase has been recorded in the domestic market, where reactions to changes in sunflower oil exports are evident.Experts explain that some processors have shown interest in raw materials due to active oil exports. There are factories that have sufficient stocks until the end of the season, so only some of them exhibit moderate demand. Other processors are considering switching to rapeseed for greater profit if duties on soybean and rapeseed exports are introduced.According to the Tripoli.land portal, the current price for a ton of sunflower seeds is 24,790 hryvnias. Over the past eight days, sunflower prices have increased by 127 hryvnias. The CEO of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, Pavlo Koval, is confident that there will be no shortage of oil in the domestic market, as farmers have sown enough sunflower hectares. Additionally, a sufficient volume of products is planned for export. The expert emphasized that while a slight increase in price is possible, there will definitely be no shortage of oil.In July, in addition to sunflower seeds, feed wheat and barley also became more expensive.
