According to UATV: On July 16, 2023, a Russian Su-24M bomber was destroyed by the National Guard of Ukraine's Omega special forces at the Saky airbase in occupied Crimea. After the target was identified, the operation was executed successfully, enabling a precise strike against the enemy.
According to the press service, two drones were used to eliminate the bomber.
'The first UAV hit the Su-24M's nose section, and the second struck the fuel tank area, finally destroying it,' said Oleksandr Pyvnenko, a representative of the special forces.This mission is part of broader efforts to counter Russian aggression in temporarily occupied territories.
