Trump's Special Envoy, Kellogg, Discussed the Plan to End the War in Ukraine Within 100 Days.
Trump aims to end the war in Ukraine within the first 100 days of his presidency - Kellogg
Kit Kellogg, Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, stated that the newly elected president of the USA intends to end the war in Ukraine within the first 100 days of taking office. In his interview with Fox News, Kellogg spoke about Trump's strategy to resolve the conflict and emphasized the importance of putting an end to the killings and hostilities.
Thank you @DanaPerino @AmericaNewsroom for having me on this morning. The UKR-RU war is the largest war in Europe since World War II. It is a challenge that '47' has inherited. We should all have great confidence that it will come to a conclusion. As he said in September at Trump Tower, it is Time. pic.twitter.com/2biUFWdmNt

Kellogg cited the example of the city of Mariupol, which has been completely destroyed by the conflict. He also pointed out that Ukraine has lost more soldiers in three years than the USA did during the entire Vietnam and Korean Wars. Kellogg stressed the importance of economic pressure on Russia, lowering oil prices, and using frozen Russian assets to purchase American weapons for Ukraine.
According to Kellogg, Russia is conducting a war of attrition, but President Trump understands the necessity to end the killings, even though it does not align with their mentality. He also noted that the proposal to use frozen Russian assets will not completely solve the problem, but it is an element for discussion.
We remind that Vladimir Putin had previously announced his willingness to negotiate with Ukraine under certain conditions.
