SBU Special Forces Officer Talks About a Unit That Is a 'Machine for Accomplishing Unrealistically Cool Tasks'.
Special Operations Center "A" (also known as "Alpha") performs complex tasks in the war. SBU Head Vasyl Maliuk regularly visits fighters on the front. This was told by one of the special forces officers from the "Mich Team" of "CSO "A" SBU during the program "From Soul to Soul".
"Special Operations Center "A" is a machine that moves forward and opposes the enemy. There's a task—it's being done. We fight across the entire front, especially where it is hottest. We cannot disclose the scale of operations as we cannot reveal all our secrets to the enemy," the special forces officer said.
According to him, fighters from other units are highly motivated knowing that SBU special forces are nearby.
"Wow, 'Alpha' will be with us!" - this is the reaction we observe when we come to aid other units on the front line. Everyone knows we are specialists in our field," said the special forces officer from "CSO "A" SBU.
The special forces officer noted that the Service leadership regularly visits fighters on the front.
"When we see them, we gain even more motivation. Each trip to us is accompanied by SBU Head Maliuk. He knows almost everyone personally and always finds words of support," the special forces officer emphasized.
Recall, it became known earlier that the group "Rating" conducted a public opinion survey ordered by the European Union. The trust level towards SBU in this survey reached 73% and became the highest in the entire period of independence.
