According to Novyny.live: On June 27, 2023, Ukraine is set to experience intense heat, with temperatures climbing as high as +35°C. Overnight lows are forecast to range between +13°C and +18°C, though southern regions and Zakarpattia may see readings up to +21°C. During the day, temperatures will soar to +25–30°C, with western areas hitting +29–34°C, and parts of Zakarpattia potentially reaching +35°C.

Winds will come from the northwest at speeds of 5–10 meters per second. Brief afternoon showers are possible in the northeastern skies. Forecasts indicate that a severe heatwave will grip Ukraine in the coming days, with temperatures possibly spiking to +40°C. Meteorologist Natalia Didenko noted,

“The weather in Ukraine on June 27 will be hot, with some areas expecting up to +35°C.”
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has warned that a temperature drop is anticipated starting July 2.

Heatwave Impact on Agriculture

By late June 2023, rising temperatures across Ukraine are beginning to affect the agricultural sector, particularly the yields of certain crops. The heat is also expected to strain the energy grid, as increased use of air conditioners drives up electricity consumption.
