Ukraine Weather Forecast: June 27–28

According to Novyny.live: Ukraine is bracing for a significant heatwave on June 27 and 28, with temperatures expected to climb as high as +38°C. On June 27, the mercury is forecasted to reach up to +35°C, while June 28 will see most regions experiencing temperatures between +29°C and +34°C. In western areas, the heat could intensify further, ranging from +33°C to +37°C.

The capital city, Kyiv, will also feel the heat: June 27 is predicted to hit +29°C, with a rise to +32°C on June 28. By June 29, temperatures are expected to increase even more, reaching +34°C. Over the weekend, from Sunday into Monday, maximum temperatures across Ukraine—especially in the west—could soar to between +33°C and +38°C.

Natalka Didenko noted that 'the heat from Western Europe will gradually spread eastward.'

However, she added that localized thunderstorms and rain are most likely in the eastern regions and parts of central Ukraine. A reprieve from the heat is anticipated around July 2, offering residents some relief from the soaring temperatures.

How the Heatwave May Affect Daily Life

The impending heatwave in Ukraine is poised to impact daily activities, particularly agriculture, energy consumption, and healthcare, as high temperatures can lead to a spike in heat-related illnesses like heatstroke.

It is crucial to stay updated on weather forecasts to prepare for possible local rain and thunderstorms, which could mitigate the heat's adverse effects in certain areas. Monitoring weather changes will remain essential in the coming days, especially given the rising temperatures across Ukraine.
