US tries to prevent war between Israel and Hezbollah - media.

According to Reuters, Washington is making efforts to prevent a full-scale war between Israel and Hezbollah, the Lebanese movement supported by Iran.

The US is leading a diplomatic operation to prevent Israel from striking Beirut or civilian infrastructure after a rocket attack by Hezbollah, which resulted in the deaths of 12 people.

Diplomacy is aimed at keeping Israel from striking Beirut and key infrastructure targets such as airports and bridges.

Israeli officials have stated that their country wants to strike Hezbollah but does not want a full-scale war. However, two diplomats from Europe and the Middle East have stated that Israel has not committed to avoiding strikes on Beirut and civilian infrastructure.

It is worth noting that Hezbollah has denied any involvement in the attack on the stadium in the Golan Heights, which resulted in the deaths of 12 people.
