Hypervelocity missile 'Zircon' and 7 'Dagger' missiles shot down: Air Forces reported on their work during the attack on Ukraine.


Ukraine repelled the largest air attack
Ukraine successfully destroyed 144 enemy targets during the largest air attack by the Russian Federation. This occurred on the night of November 17, 2024, when Russian invaders launched an attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. They used missiles and drones, resulting in the detection and tracking of 210 aerial targets. 120 of them were missiles, and 90 were drones. The Russian side did not spare weapons, using means such as the hypervelocity missile 'Zircon', 'Dagger' missiles, cruise missiles 'Kalibr' and X-101, as well as ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'.
Our air defense demonstrated exceptional effectiveness. As a result, it destroyed 144 enemy targets, among which was the hypervelocity missile 'Zircon', 7 'Dagger' missiles, 85 X-101 cruise missiles, 'Kalibr', 4 X-22/X-31P cruise/radar-homing missiles, 5 guided aviation missiles X-59/69, and 42 strike drones.
These air defense activities took place in 19 regions of Ukraine. As a result of successful countermeasures, 41 enemy drones were destroyed over various parts of the country, while two returned to Russia and temporarily occupied territories.
