The USA has announced a new security strategy: key priorities - friendship with the Russian Federation and America first

According to ТСН: The United States has presented a new national security strategy, which emphasizes the desire for 'friendship with Russia' and highlights American interests.

The updated strategy was published by the White House, noting that the foreign policy of President Donald Trump's administration is based on the principle of 'America First'.

Key principles of the strategy:

The core focus should be on the main national security interests of the USA.

The world through strength. Strength is an effective means of deterring aggression.

Tendency towards non-intervention. For a country with numerous interests, upholding the principle of non-intervention is a challenging task, but clear boundaries must be set for justified intervention.

Flexible realism. US policy must be realistic in achieving goals in relations with other states, seeking friendly ties without imposing changes that contradict the traditions and history of countries.

Supremacy of nations. The primary political unit will remain nation-states. The USA will prioritize its interests and encourage other countries to act similarly.

Sovereignty and respect. The United States will protect its sovereignty from threats, including transnational organizations and foreign governments.

Balance of power. The USA cannot allow any country to become so dominant that it threatens their interests, so they will work with allies to maintain a global balance.

Justice - from military alliances to trade relations.

Competence and achievement. The prosperity and security of the USA depend on the development of competence.

The document outlines the foundations of American policy in various regions, especially in the context of trade relations with China and support for Taiwan. In Europe, the United States aims to enhance European confidence in their autonomy and reduce the negative influence of regulatory bodies, especially concerning relations with Russia.

"As a result of the war in Ukraine, relations between Europe and Russia have been severely weakened, and many Europeans see Russia as an existential threat. Managing Europe's relations with Russia will require significant diplomatic engagement from the USA to restore strategic stability on the Eurasian continent and reduce the risk of conflict between Russia and European states. The most important interest of the United States is to bring an end to military actions in Ukraine as soon as possible to stabilize the economies of European countries, prevent unintended escalation or expansion of the war, restore strategic stability in relations with Russia, and ensure the possibility of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine for its survival as a viable state," the document states.

This new strategy reaffirms a shift in the emphasis of the foreign policy of the United States, particularly in the context of relations with Russia and stability in Europe. Highlighting the importance of national interests and striving for peace in Ukraine demonstrates the USA's commitment to uphold global security in complex geopolitical conditions. At the same time, the strategy may lay the groundwork for new diplomatic initiatives in the near future.
