Today, January 12, People's Artist of Ukraine Stanislav Boklan celebrates his 65th anniversary. He was born in 1960 in Brusiliv, Zhytomyr Oblast. He graduated from the acting faculty of the Kyiv State Institute of Theatre Arts named after Ivan Karpenko-Karyi, the course of People's Artist of Ukraine Boris Stavytskyi. After graduating, he worked at the Donetsk Regional Russian Drama Theatre (in Mariupol).

Stanislav Boklan is a certified actor, which means many of his roles delight his fans. The most popular works of the famous Ukrainian actor are the series 'Papik,' 'Servant of the People,' 'Krepostna,' and 'When We Are Home.' However, films starring Stanislav Boklan also achieve great success. Among this list of works:

  • 'The Border' - 2017;
  • 'The Guide or Flowers Have Eyes' - 2014.

It should be noted that in December 2024, the National Academic Drama Theatre named after Lesya Ukrainka invited People's Artist of Ukraine Stanislav Boklan for one of the leading roles in the premiere performance 'The Ferryman.'

Boklan is not part of the Lesya Ukrainka Theatre troupe and is a guest star. The actor used to perform at the capital's Young Theatre, but when he gained fame in television series, he left.

Boklan's return to the theatre stage is backed by a contract with a substantial sum.

According to the document, the famous actor will earn 700,000 UAH ($17,000) for the play 'The Ferryman' only in the current season, which will end in August 2025.

The actor's fee is divided into two parts: the first part is 6,500 UAH for each rehearsal in the production; the second part is 13,000 UAH for each performance.
