The Pension Fund increases insurance payouts
Starting from March 1, 2025, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will begin recalculating monthly insurance payouts for those affected by workplace accidents and occupational diseases. According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated February 25, 2025, No. 209, the payouts will be recalculated with a coefficient of 1.115.
These changes also apply to recipients of insurance payouts in the event of the victim's death. The maximum increase in the insurance payout after the recalculation will be 1500 hryvnias.
According to the PFC, 'The amount of the increase in the monthly payout is determined individually depending on the size of the assigned insurance payout.'
The Pension Fund reported that the recalculated funds will be available from April this year.
Additionally, the PFC provided further information on the calculation of benefits for temporary disability.
