Student helped friend with enrollment for deferment - court verdict.
In Kharkiv, a student, according to the court, helped a man avoid conscription into the army through document forgery and received payment for it.
According to the verdict of the Derhachi District Court of Kharkiv Region, the student agreed to help the conscript enter college and cancel his status as 'wanted'. After forging documents and updating data, the man was able to obtain a deferment from conscription.
Important detail
The court decided that the student, who received payment for his services, is guilty and entered into an agreement with the prosecutor. He received a suspended sentence of two years and a fine of two thousand hryvnias that he must pay. The court's decision can be appealed within 30 days.
