Subsidies from October 1: who will need to submit a new application for the heating season.
According to inkorr.com: According to 'Hvylya', the heating season will start on October 1, which again requires some Ukrainians to submit applications for subsidies for utility services. This information was confirmed by the press service of the Pension Fund.
Who needs to submit new applications
According to the provided data, new subsidy applications must be submitted by:
- citizens applying for the first time;
- those whose subsidy was suspended due to debt or lack of income;
- persons with a changed family composition or social status;
- internally displaced persons receiving subsidies for rented housing;
- people who are officially registered but do not actually reside in the housing for which they plan to apply for a subsidy.
Application submission deadlines
It is important to remember the deadlines: if the application is submitted within two months from the beginning of the heating season, the subsidy will be calculated from the very beginning of the season. Otherwise, assistance will be granted only from the moment the application is submitted. There are still three ways to submit: in person, online via the 'Diia' app, or through local authorities. We also remind that earlier the introduction of the 'seventh' payment in Ukraine was announced.
This heating season will be an important step for those Ukrainians who rely on government support. To receive a subsidy, it is advisable to adhere to the application submission deadlines and familiarize oneself with all changes in order not to miss the opportunity to receive financial assistance.
